November Wrap Up!

November was actually pretty lackluster for me in terms of reading. In the 30 days I only managed to complete 4 books. I’m still happy with this though because they all ended up being really great reads.

ALSO, that whole NaNoWrimo thing.. yeah…. I only made it to 10,000 words..

Night by Elie Wiesel

Night follows a boy and his father as they try to survive the holocaust. I had to read this for my history class and since it’s a book for school, I didn’t expect to like it at all but I ended up reading it..for the most part.

If you would like to know more of my thoughts on Night click here to read my Goodreads review.

Hard Luck by Jeff Kinney

After reading Night I found my self in a little bit of reading slump so I decided to pick up something that I knew was going to be a light and quick read.

I also have a Goodreads review for this one, click here to check it out.

My Heart and Other Black Holes by Jasmine Warga

I tried to read this book when it first came out but for some reason I could never get into it. This month I wanted a audiobook to listen to so I thought I would give this another shot and I’m glad I did because it has now became one of my favorite books of the year.

The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon

This was Contemporary Corner’s book of the month for November!

I’m not going to say much about this book because I have a full length review, click here to read more of my thoughts.

Can’t wait to read Night, that book sounds amazing since the first time I’ve heard about it. Great wrap-up! 🙂

Thanks! While I didn’t love Night as much as I wish I did, I still think it’s an important story
