This Friday (10/7) I will be leaving the cozy and frankly-boring life that I’ve gotten used to after 17 years of living in my small and quiet town and I will be heading to Fort Lauderdale, Florida (17 hour drive there and back) where I will then board a cruise boat with my family and will be without wifi or even phone service for that matter for a week.
Most people would think that if I was going on a cruise I would be zip-lining or just talking to human beings, but my main objective for this vacation is to relax for the first time in a long time and relaxing equals reading. These are the books I plan to read in those ten days.
Something in Between by Melissa De La Cruz
This is Contemporary Corner’s book of the month for October so I need to read it on the cruise since I’ll be gone for half of the month.
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
I’ve already read this book but I’m buddy reading the trilogy with my friend Karen this month so I want to reread this before I start the other two (Karen has a booktube channel, so if you would like to check it out click here)
In Real Life by Jessica Love
I’m really anticipating this book so I think this is the perfect time to read it.
Leave Me by Gayle Forman
I got this for review from Algonquin Books and it’s already out so I need to read it already!
A Tragic Kind of Wonderful by Eric Lindstorm
I got this for review from Poppy publishing and I’m really excited to read it!
That’s it for the books I’m taking on vacation! What’s the favorite vacation you’ve been on? Let me know in the comments!
